The search begins

I have begun to search the web for potential real estate that might meet my needs. I am frustrated with the various web sites as they seem to want more information than what they give. I can see by the numbers that not all of the available homes are listed. I have found one national site that doesn't list my own place in Texas where other national sites do have it listed.

I'll keep looking and maybe I'll find THE PLACE soon. It might be easier if we found a buyer for the Texas place first. But one starts where one is.....

There is no fool like an old fool

That is how the saying goes, doesn't it ?

I had a farm of my own a few years ago and because of a heart problem I sold it and everything in it. Then one day I was going through old photos of the farm and I began to cry. I missed the country life, my farm and all the happenings that go with that life. So I began to think and dream once again of having a farm again. A small little homestead in a comfortable climate not to cold not hot. A place in a rural community, enough room to garden, have some chickens and enjoy the seasons as they come and go. Do a little canning, and learn a new craft or two.

Maybe I am just dreaming my life away, but that is how things start-with a dream.
